Description
To commemorate the thousandth anniversary of the first mentioning of the name of Lithuania, Trakai History Museum decided to introduce the public to artistic works created by its two restorers, Kazimieras Barišauskas and Virginijus Stančikas, over the previous decade. Trakai Island Castle exhibited works created by these artists in their free time, as well as some recent works made especially for Trakai History Museum. Each work is unique and has historical value: their talents combine the artistic traditions of the past with the notion of the present.
