The catalogue created for the exhibition of the plaque collection ‘The creators of Lithuania 1918–2018’ is the sixth publication in Trakai History Museum’s series ‘SPECTACULO ET COLLECTIO’. As the centenary of the restoration of Lithuania’s statehood approached, a series of 20 plaques was issued on the initiative of Kornelijus Bačkevičiaus. These were devoted to prominent politicians, military personnel, clergy, cultural and public figures, as well as signatories of the Independence Act of 16 February.
